UX Design is just as much about design as it is about negotiation. Strategically advocating for user needs, business goals, and/or technical innovation makes a good designer great.
The trick is to find where all three parties have common interests and tackle those issues first. For example:
-Your users want to find similar products in your store
-The business wants to sell more products
-Tech wants to incorporate AI into the system
Knowing what each party wants, you can negotiate with each other to create the most impactful outcomes.
