Object Oriented (KLAS Research)

Nouns or (Objects) are more important than verbs when you start making a product.

Imagine you are at the lake with your toddler. Most parents would start to point things out to them, like:

Water 🌊
Ducks 🦆
Building 🏛️
Jet Ski 🚤
Rocks 🪨

I have never met anyone who starts pointing out:
Swimming 🏊‍♂️
Floating 🛟
Standing 🧍
Quacking 🔊

From when we were kids to now, we use objects to understand our surroundings! If a user comes to your product and sees verbs first, you risk confusing them because they don't understand their surroundings.

When creating your product, prioritize objects and help your users understand what they are, where they are, and how they interact first! This makes a smoother experience for the user and for the business.

If you need help creating a product that won't confuse your users, shoot me a dm! I would love to help.
